  • Customer inquiry

What is the click life expectancy for the touch issue?

Under normal hardware conditions, the theoretical number of touches is unlimited. The principle of projected capacitive touch technology is to sense the partial current taken away by human contact, forming a capacitance difference, which determines that the number of touches is unlimited. Therefore, neither capacitive touch phones nor tablets undergo testing for the number of touches. This is different from resistive touch screens, which require touch life testing to prevent issues such as dot collapse or failure to rebound due to excessive use.

  • 8-inch/10.1-inch models using the 5095 enclosure experience high temperatures

Reason:Model 5095 employs passive heat dissipation via its radiator, with the rear casing tightly integrated to facilitate joint cooling. The surface feels hot to the touch, typically reaching 45°C when it begins to feel uncomfortably warm.

Solution:Normal, does not affect the normal operation or lifespan of the machine

  • Some motherboards have volume issues

Due to the shortage of sound card chips on the market, some projects have resorted to using USB sound card chips as substitutes. These can only support 3W power at 4 ohms, whereas Realtek sound cards can handle 5W at 8 ohms. Therefore, Realtek sound cards produce slightly louder audio.

    • The genuine code cannot be activated

Reason:1. Verify internet connectivity; genuine activation requires an internet connection, preferably via Ethernet cable.

2.Confirm that the customer's reinstalled system matches the version indicated on the genuine product code label.

3.If manual activation fails, proceed with command-line activation or telephone activation.

Solution:1. Activate using an Ethernet cable. If the cable fails, switch to command-line activation.

2.Our factory-installed system uses the 2019 Edition 1809 version with its corresponding activation key.

If customers reinstall the system, it must be the 2019 Edition 1809 version. Installing the 2021 Edition 21H2 will cause incompatibility and prevent activation.
The 2021 21H2 version is rarely used. Its activation code differs from the 2019 version. Microsoft's 2021 21H2 system currently contains bugs."

    • About the ROOT function of Android firmware

Reason why ROOT privileges are not fully disabled in the Android firmware (customizable firmware):
Our standard firmware is compiled in debug mode, allowing the software to obtain certain system root privileges. It is not possible to disable all root privileges via the reserved switch in the settings.
To fully disable root privileges, the firmware must be compiled in user mode.In this mode, apps can only obtain partial permissions after requesting authorization, and some special system permissions are also disabled, which may prevent apps from accessing certain special functions.
If complete root permission disablement is required, a custom dedicated firmware must be developed, which is supported as a customizable option.

      1. Frequent blue screens

Reason:The amount of memory allocated by the system or software has exceeded the actual capacity of physical memory, necessitating the allocation of space from the hard disk to establish virtual memory.
When physical memory becomes insufficient, the system will directly access virtual memory to supplement it, thereby preventing software crashes caused by memory shortages.
